WHO WE ARE

Onirik is a jewelry brand owned and managed by Giovanni and Mouna, an happy hippy family living in Ibiza with its 2 babies.

This project comes from our big passion for traveling around the globe meeting people and cultures and enjoying the free-time we have during the winter because in the magical mediterranean island where we livein the Mediterranean Sea where we work during the summer season but then in the wintertime we close our sale spots.
So as said traveling around we started to collect jewelry and we loved it, mostly being attracted by tribal and ethnic jewelry of any type.
What fascinated us was the fact that jewelry has always been present throughout our history, and for the men and women of the countries we visited, it was a way to express various things: social status, religious rituals, social events, and more.

We also learned how to make our jewelry in a silversmith school in India and since that moment we have never stopped searching and making jewelry.

After some years we decides to focus on Silver so now all Onirik jewelry is made out of Sterling Silver and we always choose the highest quality metal.

We also search and choose autentichal and natural gemstones from all around the planet to combine with silver.

We take inspiration from antique and old tribal jewelry that is our main style but we often mix this ancient vibe with modern design to realize jewelry for anyone.

We make some of our jewelry in our workshop in Ibiza an we produce the rest of the jewels in many different countries as Indonesia, India, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Italy, Iran, Polonia, Brasil and more

CONCEPT AND INSPIRATION:

Onirik draws inspiration from tribal and ethnic jewelry from around the world, adapting, revisiting, and sometimes reproducing ancient designs filled with meaning and history. Over time, we have also blended this foundation with current styles and trends, seeking the balance between the ancient and the modern. Above all, our goal is to create jewelry that can be worn on any occasion without going unnoticed.

Being based in Ibiza, we find inspiration in the ethnic and boho style, and the multiculturalism of this island is reflected in the diversity of our collections.

TECHNICAL FEATURES AND PROCESS:

All Onirik jewelry is handmade using 925 sterling silver and natural gemstones. We select only the finest quality materials to ensure a durable product. Our jewelry can be categorized into three groups: designs we create and have made, pieces we find during our travels, and those personally handcrafted by us.

Once we have selected high-quality silver, we rely on skilled artisans in Italy and Asia for the manufacturing process. We work with small, family-run workshops whose work methods and conditions we are familiar with, avoiding mass production and exploitation, while striving to maintain ethical practices.

Having developed relationships with these artisans over a decade, they have become not just collaborators but also friends, allowing us to contribute to the well-being of their families and make a positive impact in less fortunate countries.

In addition to creating jewelry based on our own designs, ideas, and concepts, a significant part of our collections still consists of pieces we discover during our travels around the world, always searching for unique, expertly crafted items.

Finally, I personally create a portion of Onirik's jewelry using carefully selected stones from around the world, complemented with silver details. For stone selection, I regularly visit Jaipur (the world's primary center for a wide variety and quality of gemstones) where I work with reputable merchants who have been in the industry for generations. We value the quality and aesthetics of the stones, as well as their healing and energetic properties. We study gemology and the therapeutic properties of minerals.
